The town is an important historical and cultural centre and is the venue for the world famous Ravello Music Festival, held annuallly in the gardens of Villa Rufolo. The main building dates back to the 12th century and it is believed to have been built on the site of a Roman villa. In the early 1900’s it was the private residence of an English lord but was subsequently sold to the present owners who converted it into a luxury hotel that has hosted royalty, notable celebrities and artists.
The perfect setting for your wedding ceremony, dinner and night party
Parts of the gardens can be used for Catholic, Protestant and Jewish weddings and symbolic ceremonies are also available. There are a number of possible options for receptions. Cocktails can be taken near the entrance or on the Belvedere Terrace followed by a dinner al fresco surrounded by the beauty of the gatdens or in the charming rooms of the “crypt” which is also used for after dinner parties and dances.
