Here at Gianni di Natale Photography Collective we love nothing more than to travel across Italy, capturing the love stories of our stunning couples. With iconic backdrops and endless magical memories to make, Italy really is the perfect place to host an Instagram-worthy destination wedding. It is no wonder that Cecilia and Paolo chose to have their special day at Antonello Colonna Resort in Rome. Nestled in the Prenestini and Lepini mountains, this jaw-dropping beautiful Italian wedding venue exudes elegance. You’re in for a real treat with this wedding, so we suggest you keep scrolling…
As the sun rose on another beautiful day in Italy, Cecilia started her day getting ready, adorning an exquisite dress featuring a lace bodice with three quarter lace sleeves and a satin skirt. Her hair was classically tied back with a jewel headband that glistened in the sunshine, while a short veil completed her bridal look. The groom dressed in classic black tie with a simple rose button hole, as they both made their way to the Cathedral in a Bentley as their wedding car.
The floral design throughout the day was incredible and captured the essence of romance. Fiorire Flower Designer dressed the aisle with wildly romantic flowers and after the couple committed to their forever, the guests and locals cheered on the steps of the Cathedral, celebrating their love.
As the reception got into full swing, I was on hand to photograph the stunning table-scape which was thoughtfully styled by Fiorire Flower Designer, with a modern feel and a touch of classic Amalfi including miniature lemon trees. The couple chose Riccardo Palazzi and Eyder Design to help with the finer details of the day, including the table plan as two families became one.
This modern chic wedding venue in Rome provided dazzling backdrops galore, and we certainly made the most of those as I took the couple out into the countryside for that perfect golden hour shot. As the sun drew in on their big day, Cecilia made a quick outfit change, donning a fit and flare sequin dress that reached the floor with an open back. There was certainly no denying that she looked stunning. The Shakes played live for the newlyweds and their guests, the couple took to the floor and danced all night long surrounded by their favourite people.
A huge thank you to Cecilia and Paolo for choosing Gianni Di Natale Photographers to capture their forever moment – it is one I won’t forget. We welcome you to get in touch if you would like to find out more about how we can capture your special day!
