Peruse the hashtag #tuscanywedding for even a minute and chances are any bride seeking a dream destination will be sold on the Italian charm that the region evokes. The landscape, the tranquility, and the natural elegance make for the most swoon-worthy wedding backdrops, as for Angela and Neville’s luxury Villa Corsini wedding in Tuscany? Allow us to sway you into their magnificent journey.

The medieval residence that once belonged to the Medici was endlessly alluring to the elegant couple, who envisioned a total fairytale of a big day. There, the light pours over the Chianti hills like milk and honey, the vineyards and the olive groves wrap around the property like feathered boas, the marble hallways, coffered frescoed ceilings, a mix of antique and custom-made furnishings, vast gilt mirrors and magnificent chandeliers deliver old-world grandeur, and the Pizzughe Garden overlooking the gallery makes a ceremony simply perfect. There might have been plenty of history to marvel at Villa Corsini, but Angela and Neville’s grand slam was opting to work with the incredible team of Distinctive Italy Weddings, who masterly curated every aspect of their wedding celebrations (to view more about their first wedding click here.) Angela’s bridal preparations began at St.Regis Florence, just a stone’s throw from the Arno River, before a damask canopied-bed, the Maharaja of Kolhapur would envy hadn’t he chosen the same hotel for his Florence stay. We took our time with her first portraits, while Neville and his boys got prepped inside Villa Corsini.

It was a beautiful early October day and the weather obliged with warmth and sunshine. Everyone took their seats and Angela walked down the aisle to meet her Neville with everyone around marveling at her beauty. Following the couple’s touching vows, I whisked the two away for some romantic portraits around Villa Corsini‘s garden of Meridione, embellished with statues and vases in ancient terracotta, while the black-tie attired guests enjoyed their cocktail hour at the English garden. Distinctive Italy Weddings created a sublime scene in luscious blooms following Angela and Neville’s favorite color scheme, in rich autumnal marigolds, maroons, and auburn palettes, making sure mirrors (which in the couple’s Zoroastrian faith represent “immortality”) completed the setting. A canopy of Italian string lights lit above our heads as the couple’s speeches and dances went on, and we can’t remember when the skies shifted from rose quartz and lilac to rosewood and purple. Perhaps as magic was unfolding, exactly what happens each time we’re in Tuscany.
