The brightness and the vibrant energy of Ashley and James dominated everything, sweeping away the rain that caught us by surprise in the middle of this summer wedding in Praiano.

Praiano is a small pearl between Amalfi and Positano. It is arguably one of the world’s most fascinating locations with breathtaking views and immense charm.

Ca’Pa Casa Privata is situated in Praiano. Accessible only by 120 steps your privacy is assured. After the steps you reach a wooden gate that transports you to paradise. The view from the hotel covers the houses that stretch down to the sea and on the horizon is the “Farraglioni” of Capri.The rooms have  Moorish arches and feature ceramic floors.The whole building has been transformed. The hotel is a mixture of different things-old and new but all very elegant.

Ceremony among the olive trees and candlelight dinner

After the wedding preparations in the wonderful suites of this beautiful location, there was a short refreshment on the panoramic terrace which leads to the entrance of the villa. Then we all gathered in the garden of the olive trees for a moving outdoor ceremony surrounded by green vegetation.

Immediately after the ceremony, we had the pleasure of photographing Ashley and James among the rocks with the enchanting backdrop of the sea, before rejoining  the rest of the guests for an aperitif and a few moments before the unexpected summer storm.

The rain forced us into the internal hall of Casa Privatya, where an incredibly pleasant atmosphere was created for all those present who, regardless of the rain, enjoyed the pleasure of being  gathered there for an occasion so joyful and special as that of the marriage in Praiano of Ashley and James.

As happens with the summer thunderstorms, the rain passed and the evening continued on with a delicious dinner under the stars.

 The dinner area was dominated by the long imperial table covered with a grey tablecloth and decorated with the green of the central cord, broken by the pink, purple and white roses; the row of candles  on the table and the hanging glass candles helped to create an evocative atmosphere that enveloped everyone present in a romantic warmth.
