Siena, Tuscany, July 11 2015.
When Brenda Babcock contacted us to see if we were available to photograph the wedding of Christina and Benjamin in Tuscany we could not have been happier. We know Brenda organises stylish events and Tuscany is one of the best locations to host such events. With the rich and fascinating villages immersed in the ‘gold’ of the summer hills, between those vineyards from which some of the most famous wines in the world originate. Tuscany is one of the most popular locations for destination weddings.
For their marriage , Christina and Benjamin chose the Borgo Casabianca near Siena, on the hills of Val di Chiana and the Crete Senesi. Originally a rural farm, then renovated, the Borgo Casabianca has kept all its original splendour, the elegant manor house, the gardens and surrounding area. From one of the terraces of this charming village you can observe the warm golden light of sunset caressing the hills. After the dinner and the cutting of the cake, Christina and Benjamin opened the ball and with toast after toast a fabulous party was enjoyed by all in the moonlight. It was time for us to take our leave, so we loaded our gear in the car and headed to our hotel. Having left the party amongst the nocturnal silence of the hills we could still hear in the distance the laughter of the guests who by the sound of it would be partying until dawn and see the sunrise.
There are weddings where the party is the remaining memory more than the event itself, this was one of them.
