Sorrento stole a piece of Caitlin and Patrick’s hearts the first time they visited, the couple knew if they got married, this would be the spot. The couple chose Excelsior Vittoria as their Sorrento wedding venue, the century’s old luxury hotel perched on the clifftops overlooking the glistening Mediterranean Sea below. We at Gianni Di Natale Photographers had the privilege of documenting their delightful wedding day. I captured the bride on the morning of her Sorrento wedding out on the Excelsior Vittoria balcony taking in the uninterrupted sunshine, exuding a confident elegance. Caitlin stepped into her couture Berta gown, a vision in a dramatic full skirt, the voluminous delicate folds cascaded down from her waist like an ocean of cream, which created a commanding yet romantic silhouette. Her look was radiantly finished with soft makeup and graceful hair by the exceptional team at Beauty Livery.

Patrick, the groom, showcased his sophisticated style by wearing a classic all-black Bonobos tux paired with a black bow tie. I captured some shots of the groom, looking self-assured against Sorrento’s azure expanse before he headed to greet his guests. 

The couple’s ceremony was held on the Excelsior Vittoria’s sublime terrace where planner Med in Style‘s eye for detail was exceptional. Starace Florist’s dramatic sculptural oasis of white flowers lavishly decorated the terrace. An abundance of tall delphiniums weaved together by clouds of white gypsophila was truly enchanting. Caitlin accompanied by her father, holding a luxurious bouquet of white orchids, beamed as she glided down the heavenly aisle. Caitlin and Patrick captivated their guests as they said their vows a truly mesmerising scene. I captured the newlywed’s first kiss, followed by an eruption of joy from their family and friends. 

As the guests headed to the drink’s reception, I seized a moment alone with the couple, capturing their love for each other against the natural beauty of the venue’s landscaped garden, a mixture of elegant beauty and methodical design, before taking some dramatic intimate editorial shots. Wedding photos that will act as a gateway to relive the opulent surroundings of their Sorrento wedding forever. 

The extraordinary couple re-joined their guests to dine on decedent Italian cuisine provided by Terrazza Bosquet. After dinner as the sun dipped Caitlin slipped away returning hand in hand with her husband in a lavish Milla Nova evening dress, sheer paneling adorned with white beaded detailing hugged her figure and shimmered as the couple moved together. The suns decent bathed the couple in radiant golden light. 

The couple cut their white-tiered cake, a decadent tower of sugar work petals against the Amalfi Coast’s celestial backdrop. Fabio Vuotto began to play igniting the night and infusing the guests with energy and jubilation as they danced on in the embracing intimacy of twilight.
