The morning of their Ravello wedding the sun painted the private paradise of Villa Cimbrone in soft sunlight. The bridal suite was filled with electric anticipation as Margherita slipped into her tailor-made Dolce and Gabbana wedding dress. The off the shoulder gown with lace bodice and billowing puffed sleeves glided elegantly into a flowing pleated skirt perfectly complementing the Amalfi Coast setting. The bride’s traditional look completed with soft makeup and hair held up by an elegant hairpiece by the exceptional team at Beauty Livery. I captured the joy of her bridesmaids as they took their first look at their friend as a Bride.
I joined groom Edmundo, dressed in a navy tux which popped against his crisp white shirt and tie, a single white rose buttonhole adding a touch of romance to his formal look. Captured beaming as he waited to receive his Bride at the altar.
The couple’s church ceremony was flawless, Italian Wedding Events ensured every detail was perfect. The aisle transformed by Armando Malafronte’s ethereal floristry into an enchanting floral meadow, white flowers and greenery spilling out filling the church with a heavenly scent. I captured the magnificent bride Margherita floating down the aisle. Euphoric applause rang out as the newlyweds where officially announced. Meeting with all their loved ones outside, friends and family jubilantly jostled on the church steps as I captured a gleeful group shot.
As we returned to Villa Cimbrone I stole a few moments with the couple pictured among the grounds, the golden hour light danced across the newlyweds faces illuminating the tangible feeling of love radiating between them. The venues magnificent gardens where the perfect idyllic landscape to photograph their Ravello wedding day, memories they can look back on for a lifetime.
The happy couple re-joined their guests for dinner on the terrace which appears to be floating above the clouds, the luxury tablescape set the scene, all white banquet tables set with classic crystal place settings, decorated with Armando Malafronte’s playful pastel toned florals glowing under soft light from trumpet shaped lights suspended from majestic swan like gold frames. I captured the opulent dining experience as guests enjoyed the finest local cuisine surrounded by an indulgent Amalfi Coast sunset, the sinking sun infusing the view with a kaleidoscope of colours.
As lights glow grew brighter music filled the air a live brass band flooded the terrace, the atmosphere was electric, everyone moving with delightful abandon. The joyous evening culminated with the cutting of the cake. Margherita commanded attention as she surprised the delighted guests with a second dress, her evening hauler neck gown of flowered lace swayed effortlessly with the relaxed bride. Her and Edmundo’s style exuded as they showcased the custom-made cake topper depicting their wedding day outfits exactly. Cheers reverberated as they cut the cake, lifting glasses of champagne in unison beneath a leafy canopy twinkling with the glow of thousands of lights.
