With their passion for nature and the mountains, Kristan and Peter were captivated by the natural beauty of the Amalfi coast and opted for a destination wedding in Amalfi.

The architecture and style of the NH Convento were ideal for a romantic destination wedding in Amalfi
Peter’s Italian origins and many trips to Italy undoubtedly influenced Kristan and Peter in the choice of Amalfi for their wedding. Italy fascinated them as a place rich in culture and art, where the cuisine is simply divine and the landscapes take your breath away. Both love outdoor activities, the simple beauty of natural landscapes and the mountains. The spectacle of the cliffs that rise from the Mediterranean and that make the Amalfi Coast one of the most visited places in the world, fascinated them too.

Thus, last May 17, accompanied by close friends and family, they married in the wonderful setting of the NH Convento in Amalfi. This location is undoubtedly among the most evocative of the Amalfi Coast, with an architecture and a style that make it ideal for an occasion of this sort.

Kristan and Peter chose a simple and very elegant style, dominated by light shades with a touch of blue navy that enriched the styling of the entire event with a pleasant note of contrast. Peter wore a classic black tuxedo, embellished with an original bow tie with black feathers. Kristan chose Rossella, from the 2018 collection by Calla Blanche, a dress with a deep V-neckline and lace embroidery; she wore graceful nude-coloured sandals with delicate white pearls by Sam Edelman. For the bouquet, as for the rest of the floral decorations made by Francesco Di Bianco, the white shades of white were retained.

Romantic ceremony in the charming Cloister and outdoor dinner
In the timeless atmosphere of the cloister, Kristan and Peter exchanged their promises of eternal love. On her father's arm, crossing the carpet of white petals, the beautiful Kristan reached her charming husband and here, heightened by the affection and emotion of friends and family, they were declared husband and wife.

The NH Convento, with its white walls, arcades and the evocative “Monks Walk” offering breathtaking views of the coast below is a perfect location for creating portraits full of romance and poetry.

The entire event organized by Mr and Mrs Wedding in Italy ended with an outdoor dinner, in the light of the moon and stars.
An imperial table with white flowers, gold chandeliers and lemons used as a placeholders, welcomed the guests who were able to enjoy the delights of Italian cuisine on a splendid May evening.
