Villa Cimbrone – Ravello, May 5th 2017

We met Cindy at two o’clock in the afternoon in one of the most luxurious and elegant suites of the Villa Cimbrone in Ravello. It is always a professional pleasure to be able to photograph in this location as it is such an evocative location for the type of intimate shots we like to do for our couples.

We found Craig in the main square of Ravello drinking whisky and glancing nervously around full of pre-marital nerves! However, the presence of family and close friends helped him to relax and begin to enjoy the emotional journey that is marriage.

From the square we headed fot the garden of “La Principessa di Piemonte” where the ceremony was to be held. The gardens boast a spectacular view of the Amalfi Coast and make a perfect setting.

After the ceremony bonding our couple together as husband and wife the wedding party made their way through the narrow streets of Ravello to the Villa Cimbrone.With one of the most famous landscapes in the world as a backdrop the newly-weds welcomed their guests on the enchanting “Terrace of Infinity”.While guests enjoyed aperitifs in the gardens of the villa, we took Cindy and Craig to various locations within the confines of the Cimbrone to take some shots to captire the romance and beauty of their love for each other.

The celebration dinner took place in what is known as the “Crypt” a title that does not do justice to the intimacy and historic beauty of the location.

An evening of great conviviality followed with wonderfulfItalian dishes to accompany the conversation and more formal speeches. The evening ended with  dancing and a wonderful atmosphere….a great climax to a very special day.
