This prestigious wedding venue is where we had the honour of capturing Christina and Aaron’s wedding day and it’s one celebration that will remain in our hearts forever. The bride woke up to beautiful blue skies on their April wedding day, where the air was full of anticipation and excitement. The champagne was popped, and Christina began getting ready for her big day. Slipping into a fit and flare lace gown that was complemented with a floor length veil, she looked a true vision. I took advantage of the beautiful venue by taking some intimate shots of the bride, ensuring she has a collection of heirloom-worthy photographs that she can cherish for years to come.

Aaron, the groom, got ready in his formal tux with a white jacket. He looked incredibly handsome as he got ready to marry the love of his life. Within the secluded grounds of Villa Balbiano, I captured some shots of the groom before we headed to greet the guests as they were guided to their seats to witness this special celebration. The couple exchanged their vows with an unrivalled backdrop over the lake, and as they had their first kiss as newlyweds, happiness radiated throughout the venue.

The guests made their way to the drinks reception, which had been planned to perfection by the team at Distinctive Italy Weddings. Amongst the gardens, an enchanting tablescape had been created, with flickering candles and grand chandeliers hanging stylishly over the table. Luxury floral designer Vincenzo Dascanio finished the look by carefully styling the setting with pillow-soft ivory blooms. Whilst the couples favourite people enjoyed the sunshine and local delicacies, Christina and Aaron were whisked off for a unique experience of a boat tour across the Lake.

Making their way back to their guests, the newlywed couple joined the celebration with an exquisite dining experience of decadent wine and the most delicious Italian cuisine. The speeches epitomised the love that was shared between Aaron & Christina, not to mention their friends and family. As the night drew on and the stars twinkled down on this beautiful day, it felt a true honour to be a part of someone’s new adventure. Christina and Aaron cut the cake with Lake Como glistening behind them, knowing this would always be a special place in their hearts.
