Jeff & Leilani chose Capri as their wedding destination, after they got engaged there, they were mesmerised by the fresh local cuisines, winding streets, and panoramic sea views. The couple held their welcome party at Il Riccio nestled in the Capri cliffside above the shimmering turquoise ocean. I captured the vibrant couple as they made their way there. Leilani’s looked magnificent in a pink Monique Lhuillier gown swooping to a dramatic train billowing behind. Walking hand in hand with her groom-to-be, Jeff, his powder blue suit created the perfect pastel partnership between the beaming couple. They burst onto Il Riccio’s stylish terrace, full of joy this infectious energy. I captured the dappled light dancing across the couple’s faces their senses delighted by the exquisite culinary sensations on offer as they dinned beneath a canopy of lemon trees.   

The following day the wedding party, illuminated by the increasing light, boarded a boat swaying in the azure waters. I captured the joy and playful energy between everyone as they took in the unparallel views of the island, enjoying the ocean. Returning to shore the golden Capri sun sparked, refracted in Champagne spray as the jubilant celebrations continued. 

The morning of their wedding at Il Riccio Leilani’s radiant energy filled the room as I captured her relaxed in a dressing gown and sunglasses exuding retro glamour. The bride stepped into her flowing Allison Webb A-line dress, embroidered fabric sweeping to a plunged neckline, a twist on traditional perfect for her wedding day. Her look is flawlessly finished with loose curls and romantic makeup by Beauty Livery. 

Jeff wore a navy Hellman tux with black lapels and a bow tie. I capture a flash of the inside of the groom’s jacket lined with a custom illustration of Capri, a delightful light-hearted detail showcasing the couple’s fun and creativity. 

Lindeman weddings planners checked every sublime detail. As Leilani arrived it was like being transported to another world gliding down the venue’s blue Dior decked hall she emerged onto the venue’s terrace, drawn forward stopping beneath a spectacular floral arch of cascading crisp white flowers dancing in the gentle ocean breeze framing the couple. The pair looked magnificent against the outstretching ocean vistas beyond. Cheers rippled through their closest family and friends as the couple officially said, ‘I do’.

As everyone headed to the drink reception, I captured private moments as the couple enjoyed a tour of their heavenly surroundings in a red vintage sports car. Unique moments from their day are captured forever. 

The couple re-joined their guests at Il Riccio for the finest culinary delights. Treated to a spectacle as the sun dipped, painting the coastline in strokes of indigo.  Leilani slipped away returning in a show-stopping Ulla Johnson, gown with layers of lace flowers swayed as she and her husband began to dance. The guests joined as Fabio Vuotto played, everyone absorbed in the moment sharing in the joy of their perfect Capri wedding day.
