Positano, May 19th 2017

I immediately found a lot in common  with this effervescent and dynamic couple who arrived all the way from Canada.  Envagelos is a DJ and engineering student, and in his appearance revealed all the extravagance and diversity of someone from a Greek background very much reflected in his choice of dress for the occasion along with his moustache and sunglasses.. We found Alex, who works in the medical field, to be a woman of great charm and magnetism.

Their first meeting took place at the door of a bank- not the most romantic of locations! Envagelos was depositing a cheque, and Alex–at the time employed there– cashed it for him. There the spark was ignited, which would then lead them to think and rethink a romantic elopement.. They planned to  make a long journey to Europe  and get married while they were away.  They flew to London and then from Rome to Naples, visiting Positano, Florence and finally flew to  Greece to meet his family.

Among the various locations they visited the beautiful Positano stood out as  the place that they wanted to make their pledges of eternal love. “Positano, the most beautiful place we have ever seen”.

The Hotel Marincanto is the location where they exchanged their vows, their promise  never to leave each other. The day was spent in the most relaxed and pleasant way possible, in perfect harmony with their way of living… for me it was like joining in their philosophy of life in general- a very pleasant way to live!
