Is there any black tie groom who hasn’t swiveled towards his shaving mirror, straightening his bowtie in emulation of cinema’s most iconic title sequence – accompanied, ideally, by the ding-d’ding-ding of Monty Norman’s theme? Hong’s James Bond appeal was as timeless on his big day. And for a groom who strides through life unafflicted by self-doubt and embodies elegance, it’s safe to say that Hong in his white tux was dressed to kill! A few steps and a garden away at her elegant suite in Belmond Hotel Caruso stunning Ying got prepped by Alessandro Mancino Studios and into her Pronovias gown while her coterie of bridesmaids put on their rosy gowns and shared some precious moments adorning the bride. Ying’s choice brought a touch of simple elegance to all the details of her Wedding Day. Her colors included ivories, creams, a dash of peach and of course, something blue into her bouquet. Each aspect of this classic bride’s look was carefully selected and of the most luxurious quality: diamonds, peonies, roses, silk, lace, her aura being one of femininity and grace (Are you taking notes?)
Malafronte Fiori created the most lavish white floral arch for Ying & Hong’s ceremony where white seating and an aisle strewn with tons of petals on the manicured lawn created the absolutely dreamy set. Following the couple’s vows and while cocktail hour took place we took the chance to hop over Villa Cimbrone‘s blossoming gardens for the couple’s portraits. There are a few things to beat the pretty of Cimbrone’s pathways, famed logia, and terrace of Infinity with the iconic series of marble busts and the ornate gazebo in the backdrop. We would be remiss if we did not include Belmond’s infinity pool into their shots before we headed back to the reception. Ying & Hong’s wedding dinner took place in Belmond’s gardens under a sea of olives festooned with twinkling lights, classy candelabrums, all-white tablescapes, and lavish pastel-hued blooms. After the speeches and magical feast Ying changed into a black sweetheart gown to wow us all and take a spin around the dance floor in a mesmerizing tango por dos with her beloved husband. Now that is first dance goals if you ask me!
