Whenever we are asked to photograph at Villa Cimbrone, we just know the wedding is going to be out of this world. Gwen & Ron’s celebration was certainly no exception and it’s a joy to look back at their two-day soirée (and to share it with you on our journal). Hosted across 27th & 28th September last year, their wedding was on the cusp of autumn, with the leaves just beginning to turn golden and the weather offering a softer sunshine than the summer months. Keep scrolling to immerse yourself in a touch of seasonal Amalfi Coast wedding inspiration...

The first day was spent touring the coastline in a vintage bottle-green car, before wining and dining with their loved ones at Trattoria da Lorenzo. Green really was the theme for the day, with the bride looking utterly exquisite in an embroidered floral gown with statement sleeves, while the groom looked dapper in a sage green suit. Their pre-wedding event attire was relaxed with just the right amount of luxury. The evening was spent enjoying an alfresco, intimate candlelit dinner with incredible views over the water, where their loved ones then danced under the stars, ready to make even more memories...

The sun shone as their wedding day arrived, with Villa Cimbrone offering the most magical setting for Gwen & Ron’s Ravello celebration. A first look saw the groom wowed by his bride, who stunned in a sparkling gown and elegant veil. The team at Flower Addicted provided the couple with incredible florals in rust orange and dusky pink hues – the perfect nod towards the changing seasons. Gwen’s bridal bouquet was wildly romantic with a vintage feel about it, completed only with Hollywood waves and a show-stopping red lip. Ron and his groomsmen looked handsome in black tie attire – a classic look that will never age.

Villa Cimbrone is a Ravello wedding venue with the undeniable wow factor, providing couples with various places to get married. Gwen and Ron chose The Tea Room Pavilion as the setting for their outdoor ceremony, lining the aisle with floral installations and candles. Blooms adorned the archway, curating a backdrop that was the epitome of enchanting. Their vows were followed by a movie-worthy kiss, with the newlyweds making the most of the photograph backdrops on offer at Villa Cimbrone. The Belvedere Terrace is particular favourite of mine for couple portraits, with the dramatic architecture and equally dramatic views across the coast.

A string quartet carried guests through a drinks reception in the gardens, before Gwen and Ron invited their loved ones to dine in the Crypt. The archways were adorned with flowers and hanging lanterns, with intricate tablescapes to match. The couple had considered every elegant detail, planned to perfection by the team at Exclusive Italy Weddings. If Gwen and Ronda’s Amalfi Coast wedding doesn’t want to make you get married in the autumn months, we don’t know what will.

We welcome you to continue browsing through the gallery to really enjoy a snippet of what was a truly special celebration in Ravello.
