Amalfi Coast, June 26 2016.
Ravello. When Kara opened the door of her room at the Hotel Villa Piedimonte, we were open-mouthed for a minute or maybe longer! Her red hair, fair skin, green eyes … Kara is one of the most beautiful brides that we have photographed. Actress, singer and professional model, Kara made our job incredibly simple. Then we met Rob, and we got confirmation that a God exists! Rob is the groom that any photographer would want to have the honour and the pleasure of photographing. These two gentle souls were deeply in love. Kara told us that their first meeting took place about eight and a half years ago, at a place called “Destiny” … it was their fate. They bought their first home in 2014, two years before becoming husband and wife.
They chose Ravello for the celebration of their marriage, in front of about fifty guests. They chose the picturesque gardens of Principessa Piedimonte for the ceremony, while they preferred the liberty style and the 3000 square meters of old trees of Villa Eva, near the historical center of Ravello for the continuation of the great feast.
Beyond the pleasant atmosphere of the whole event. Kara and Rob gave us the opportunity the following afternoon when they joined us for a little photo tour. We were directed at the chestnut groves of Scala, where the verdant trees, the horses and the light filtering through the leaves, we have provided the setting for a most charming and desirable afternoon in late June. Our tour concluded between the town-walls of Saint Eustache church, built in the twelfth century by the noble family of the Afflicted. Among the remains of the columns that separated the aisles of the Church, we tried to make the most of the last moments of light and portray all the beauty that Kara and Rob were able to add to what we felt was the most fascinating place amongst the kilometres and kilometres of Amalfi Coast.
