There are some weddings that just steal our hearts, etching a memory in our minds forever, lasting long after their day is over and the sun has set. Natania and Briant’s Amalfi Coast love story was exactly that – it deeply touched me and stirred my soul, gently reminding me why I do what I do. Photography is so much more than just images. It’s capturing the true, gracious and kind smiles. The honest exchanges. The loving gestures. The sheer love and affection between the couple and their families.
I believe that a huge part of being a wedding photographer is forming a true, honest relationship with clients, and the bond I shared with Natania and Briant was truly precious and something I’ll always treasure. Jacquie and her team at The Amalfi Experience were on hand to flawlessly execute Natania and Briant’s wedding, alongside a host of wonderfully talented suppliers from the Amalfi Coast. Francesca at Amalfi Coast Florist provided beautiful florals for their wedding, from buttonholes and bouquets to dreamy table centrepieces. Alessandra Romancino Studios was on hand for the bride and her bridal party’s make-up needs – creating a gorgeous glowy yet natural look for Natania. The bride looked effortlessly elegant in a long-sleeved lace gown with a subtle V neckline. Statement chandelier earrings completed her look, channelling all the Hollywood glamour vibes for her aisle style.
The Amalfi Cathedral is one of the most iconic locations on the entirety of the Amalfi Coast, so I can certainly see why Natania & Briant chose it to exchange their vows. The bride arrived at the ceremony venue in a vintage car with her father, before being greeted as newlyweds by the crowds of the piazza afterwards.
Their reception was hosted at Hotel Santa Caterina in Amalfi, where the couple were spoilt with the most exquisite setting. It’s near enough impossible not to fall in love with this 19th Century Villa – which is set atop a rugged cliff and offering its guests unbelievable ocean views. The hotel itself is a delicious blend of historical touches and contemporary details, with a botanical garden that lends itself for an enchanting outdoor ceremony.
Hotel Santa Caterina is a venue that transitions beautifully from day to night. It was equally as magical as the stars made an appearance in the sky and Natania & Briant danced the night away with their favourite people.
