Perched on a precipice overlooking a breathtaking ocean vista, Natalie and Erik choose Ravello as the setting for their Amalfi Coast Wedding. Here at Gianni Di Natale Photographers, we had the honour of capturing their Ravello wedding. It’s a joy to look back on this timeless and elegant two-day Ravello wedding at Villa Eva. Keep scrolling to immerse yourself in the captivating Amalfi Coast and marvel at the beauty of Natalie and Erik’s Ravello wedding inspiration…
The couple held an intimate Ravello wedding rehearsal dinner followed by cocktails at Belmond Hotel Caruso an idyllic 11th-century palace. I took advantage of the sheer beauty of the location, photographing the couple awaiting their guests in front of the never-ending azure waters and soft hues of the opulent horizon that Capri has to offer. The bride matched Belmond Hotel Caruso‘s contemporary Italian flair, donning an off the shoulder gown with dramatic architectural sleeves. The guests were treated to the very best alfresco Italian fine dining; the impressive stage set by Malafronte Fiori’s tablescape of abundant soft blush-toned florals mirroring the serenity of the silky Ravello sunset.
On the morning of their elegant Ravello wedding there was a buzz around Villa Eva as Mario Capuano checked every detail of their day was planned to perfection. Our bride Natalie slipped into her fit and flair Lee Petra Grebenau gown, delicate lace detailing extending into the plunge neckline. The timeless and elegant look is completed with plush curls from Alessandro Mancino. The groom looked dashing in a black Tom Ford suit and bow tie as he made their way to their first look – there was no doubt that the atmosphere was electric. I captured the intimate and thrilling first look, which is always such a beautiful moment to witness.
As Natalie and Erik made their way to their ceremony nestled among the enchanting gardens of Villa Eva, a mesmerising aisle of white rose petals laid by Armando Malafronte’s beckoned the couple forth to exchange vows beneath an opulent all white floral arch. An oasis of ivory blooms and green foliage, in keeping with the day’s classically romantic and undeniably enchanting aesthetic. Delight shone through the couple’s friends and family as I captured the couple in an glamorous, dipped embrace moments after they said, “I Do”
As the guests enjoyed cocktails, I whisked the couple away, documenting those all-important solo shots in the late afternoon, golden Amalfi sunshine, which perfectly illuminated the unfading and everlasting commitment of the couple. As dusk fell, I captured the happiness of the couple reflected in the twinkling lights of the city below.
The happy couple re-joined their guests for heartfelt and touching speeches providing an emotional entrée to the rich Italian dining experience. As the night drew in, Villa Eva transformed under Ravello’s shimmering sky. Natalie stunned guests, changing into a breathtaking, silk, floor-length evening gown that rippled effortlessly as she and her groom twirled in their first dance. And as Luna Showband invited their loved ones to join them, I captured a sea of smiles, as the party continued below the sparkling cosmos.
A huge thank you to Natalie and Erik for choosing Gianni Di Natale Photographers to capture their timeless and elegant Ravello wedding – it is one I won’t forget. We welcome you to get in touch if you would like to find out more about how we can capture your special day!
