It’s always such a pleasure to capture couples’ love stories at Villa Cimbrone in Ravello, one of the most exquisite venues on the Amalfi Coast. It is no wonder that Raj and Brooke chose the venue as the setting for their beautiful day in April 2022. It offers the essence of romance, alongside unrivalled views, decadent décor, and magnificent backdrops for those perfect moments we are fortunate enough to be able to capture on camera. We are overjoyed to share their elegant Villa Cimbrone wedding day with you on the journal…

The morning of the celebration arrived, and although a subtle rain and soft mist adorned the coastline, this didn’t dampen anyone’s spirits. Brooke began getting ready, using the talented Alessandro Mancino for hair and make-up. As she stepped into her gown, which featured a fitted flower lace top that gracefully cascaded down to a tulle skirt, I captured those intimate moments before she made her way to the ceremony. Brooke’s team of bridesmaids looked equally as stylish in their floorlength blush pink dresses, which complemented the wedding colour palette perfectly.

Raj and his groomsmen looked dashing dressed in formal black tie, with the groom standing out in a white tux jacket. I whisked them off to a remote area of Villa Cimbrone for some shots prior to the ‘I Do’s’, where the anticipation began building ahead of the ceremony.

Raj and Brooke chose to have their ceremony outside in the secluded gardens, where the expert team at Cami Wedding Events had planned it to complete and utter perfection. The aisle was elegantly scattered with pillow-soft petals and lined with a combination of ivory and lavender blooms, beautifully complementing the bride’s bouquet. The floral design was created by the ultra-talented Armando Malafronte, who’s signature look always involves the wow-factor element. Once Brooke and Raj had officially exchanged their vows, the newlyweds and their guests were guided back to the Villa for the drinks reception and delicious canapés. The atmosphere was electric with laughter, excited chatter and the happiest of smiles from everyone – a snapshot from this special day that I will always cherish.

The day unfolded and everyone gathered to wine and dine on the most delectable feast. Their tablescape set-up elevated the overall wedding aesthetic, and it was without a doubt one of the most beautiful reception styling I had ever seen at Villa Cimbrone. With fragrant flowers and the warm glow of candles that twinkled as the night drew in, the setting was truly iconic. The couple, surrounded by their loved ones, celebrated into the evening with speeches, champagne toasts, and dancing. It was an occasion they wouldn’t forget any time soon.
