Sascha and Oliver had a calm and relaxed marriage in mind when they thought of Italy, a country they love  because of its slow and rhythmic way of life. Wanting an elegant and chic style, they organized their destination wedding in Positano, in close contact with the sea and the warm sun of the Amalfi Coast.

The secrets for a relaxed and chic wedding in Positano

The emotions and tensions that accompany the bride and groom on their wedding day can often create tensions that can mar an otherwise special day.

Sasha and Oliver were sure they did not want any of this. A couple, very happy and in love, Sasha and Oliver wanted the day of the wedding to be slow and relaxed … a happy day for everyone.

They certainly knew how to mix the right ingredients to get what they wanted, without giving up the elegance and refinement that characterized them.

The first successful ingredient was the choice of a destination wedding in Positano, surrounded by the timeless beauty of the Amalfi Coast, kissed by the warm October sunlight, caressed by the gentle sea breeze of autumn evenings.

Second ingredient, the choice of the Autumn, one of the best times to visit the Amalfi Coast. Positano is empty of the majority of tourists who come during the summer season. This more peaceful period allows the visitor to enjoy an intimate atmosphere, revealing the charm of life in close contact with the sea.

Finally, the choice of a location, Villa Oliviero, perfect if what you are dreaming of is the simplicity of a wedding by the sea.  Our couple were able to make their vows on a beautiful terrace in front of family and friends.

Elegant and Sophisticated

Sasha and Oliver were able to reconcile their attitude to simplicity and relaxation with a look that was both elegant and sophisticated.

Oliver wore a very elegant three piece black suit, with bow tie.

Sascha opted for a Dando London dress, with a silk crepe skirt, a detachable cathedral train with embroidered lace and a seductive “illusion” neckline with a lace edge and mother-of-pearl buttons on the back.

To complete the look, she wore a pair of silk laced stiletto heels with the iconic red sole by Christian Loboutin.

The bridesmaids, with elegant long black dresses by Adrianna Pappel enhanced Sasha’s elegant and seductive look.

Last touch of chic, the flowers: delicate roses and white dahlias for the bouquet, dahlias in the delicate pastel shades of pink for the floral decorations of the tables, illuminated by the romantic and warm light of the candles.

The entire event took place at the Villa Oliviero, from the ceremony to the dinner that was held on the hotel’s panoramic terrace with the romantic background of the intense blue of the sea at sunset.
