One of our favourite things here at Gianni Di Natale Photographers is having the pleasure to travel across Italy and beyond to capture spectacular love stories. Situated in the heart of the Amalfi Coast is the enchanting fishing village of Conca Dei Marini, and nestled just above the glistening ocean is Hotel Borgo Santandrea, a haven of serenity with uninterrupted views. It’s no wonder that Sasha and Steve chose this as their venue to commit to their forever. Join us as we take a look back at this sensational wedding day… 

As the wedding day arrived, Sasha and Steve were greeted with warm sunshine that sparkled off the still water, the perfect weather for their celebration. I spent the morning capturing the bride get ready with her closest loved ones, they poured the champagne into crystal glasses and chatted excitedly about the day ahead. Sasha stepped into her exquisite ball gown, a vision in a dramatic full lace skirt, complemented with a delicate lace over top that she wore for the ceremony. The bride wore loose curls that cascaded down her shoulders and the look was finished with radiant soft make up by the talented Alessandro Mancino.

I seized a moment with Steve and his groomsmen who illustrated their sophistication in a dashing all black tux complemented with a bow tie. I captured the groom and his party toasting to love at an intimate bar within Hotel Borgo Santandrea and the smiles on their faces lit up the room, it was a moment that would stay with them forever. 

The couple made their way to the ceremony which was held in a wonderful church within the Amalfi Coast. An enthusiastic crowd had gathered outside ready to welcome Sasha and Steve as newlyweds. Sasha was accompanied down the aisle, and as she made her way to her future husband, I glanced at Steve who had happy tears in his eyes as he saw his bride for the first time. The couple exchanged the most romantic vows and when they had their first kiss, the guests cheered loudly that echoed through the church. 

Following the ceremony, the newlyweds and their guests made their way to Hotel Borgo Santandrea for the drink’s reception. Sasha and Steve hopped into a vintage classic car, and I took the opportunity to capture some shots within the enchanting village. We were spoilt with the most wonderful backdrops for their images, precious memories that can be relived through these photos forever. 

The tablescape for their alfresco dining on the Hotel’s terrace was outstanding. Ivory blooms overflowed vases that had been carefully curated by the talented Fiore all’Occhiello, candles softly flickered and as the day drew on the sky glowed with a classic Amalfi Coast sunset, a gradient of oranges and pinks; a wildly romantic arrangement. The couple and their favourite people were treated to divine Italian delicacies, topped with mouth-watering champagne, it was a night to remember. 

The atmosphere at this celebration was joyous, and as Sasha and Steve cut the cake, I had the pleasure of capturing the happy faces of those around them. The newlyweds, joined by their guests danced under the star encrusted night sky, and as the celebration came to an end, I witnessed everyone reminiscing about what an iconic day it had been.
